Welcome to Genealogy Family Research, thanks for stopping by. Hi, my name is Julie and I have been researching at the Archives in Washington DC, College Park MD, and online for over 6 years.
Know matter what kind of document(s) you need I will do my very best to get them for you!
The archives is a very wonderful place that holds many great and interesting documents. It can also be a place of huge disappointment when one’s documents are thought to be there and are not. I will do my very best to locate and copy exactly what you are wanting but I can’t ever guarantee that what I went there for will be found. Even though I do my very best the first half of the research fee will be mine to keep for my research time and effort.
Anyone who would like to hire my services for research must email me in great detail exactly what they are wanting and what is contained within the documents that are to be researched. This is to ensure the best possible research outcome. Depending where your research is conducted I may not be able to call you if there is a problem or if I have a question, so it is very important that even the smallest of details be included.
My research specialties are:
Census Records
Immigration/ Naturalization Records
Finding documents for people who have spelled their names differently
Ships logs- There are two types of ships logs that I research.
1) Immigration/Emigration Ships logs
2)Military and Commercial Deck Logs
Ships logs of either kind may require more then one visit. Military and Commercial Deck Logs may be over 300 pages per month. Copies at the Archives are .35 Cents per copy.
Military Records *
*I can help you locate where your records are and how to get them* This includes Revolutionary War, Civil War, Spanish American War, Korean War, Vietnam, and USMC Vietnam or any other military type record you may need.
Pension Records
Quick Research Help
1) Ancestry.com has the exact same records as the archives, if you have searched ancestry.com and can’t find a record you know should be there sending someone to the archives will most likely come up with no records also.
* I do have an 90% success rate for finding documents that no one else was able to find on ancestry.com.
2) Records available on Ancestry.com are ships logs, census records, military registration records, there also maybe birth, death, and marriage records depending on which state they were in.
3) Footnote.com is in the process of copying many military records from the archives such as the Revolutionary War and Civil War. They also have some Naturalization Records.
If you are wanting Naturalization Records even if they are not available on Footnote.com I can help you get them directly from the Archives.

* If you call me and we discuss your research and you would like to hire me I do require you to email me all information in detail about the scope of your research and exactly what it is you are hoping to find.
I am not at any time able to guarantee that the information that you are requesting will be there. I am not to be held liable in any way if the information I find isn’t what you had hoped for. I will do my very best to get what I was hired for but for reasons beyond my control sometimes what should be there isn’t always there and with the archives many times things are not as what they seem in their index.
Sincerely,
Julie:)
